To a large extent, the offerings at both parks are identical, however, Schlitterbahn New Braunfels has a somewhat larger variety of rides and attractions. Areas:

The parks have a German concept and a Texas location, but their natural environments couldn’t be more different.

The New Braunfels Schlitterbahn water park receives some of its daily water needs from the nearby Comal River. Around the river, the park takes on a more natural look, with oak and cypress trees lining the walks and native flowers appearing out of nowhere. You’ll also find numerous natural hills scattered across this area.

This Galveston Park is more commercial in the sense that it has man-made structures and less organic vegetation. But don’t let that put you off; the park is beautiful in its own right, with enough of Texas’s natural charm still intact.
