Hotel Franchising Delaware – Addressing Important Concerns of Hoteliers
We have awesome offer for hoteliers who are looking for a good franchise contract. We welcome you to SBA approved brands by Stay Express that offer so much more than others.
First of all, let us address a few concerns of hotel owners regarding franchising. Many hotel owners have fears which make them hesitant. Let us try to address some of those fears here, one by one.
1 – Sky High costs: Many hotel owners are afraid of high franchise costs. They have become wary of paying exorbitant sums of money for joining a brand and then paying huge sums annually as well. With Stay Express that is not the case.
Our costs are very reasonable and affordable. We also hate high charges just like you do. In many cases the high charges are not justified and the hotels do not get sufficient value in return for paying so much.
For this reason we have decided from the start that we will keep our joining fees and annual charges much less than what the other brands charge. That does not mean we are in any way less in quality or value than others. We try to provide higher value and maintain high standards while charging less to our partners. One of our cheif aims is to see our partners succeed and grow.
2 – Unimaginable PIPs: Another thing that frightens many hoteliers is the PIP (Property Investment Plan). Most brands have extensive requirements from their franchisees. They force them to make huge renovations to the hotel properties which costs enormous amounts of money and causes lot of financial problems for hotels.
This is another area of concern Stay Express has looked into and decided that we will do our best to make it as easy as possible for our partners. As such we have decided not to enforce any PIP for at least 2 years for our new partners. After 2 years there may be sensible and reasonable PIP that we may require hotels from hotels, but nothing unreasonable or extravagant.
3 – Torturous Long Contracts: This is a big torture for many hoteliers. Many brands force you to enter into long term contracts with them. Some of the contract periods may even span up to 15 years or more. This way the hotel owners get trapped even if they are not completely happy with the brand. They are left with no choice but to continue paying the hefty franchisee fees and abiding by all the contract rules because if they prematurely terminate the contract they would have to pay thousands or millions of dollars in fines.
Here again Stay Express has decided to do things against the norm. We have introduced short term contracts so any new hotel can join us if it wants to try us out. If they are not happy or they don’t feel it is beneficial for them, they can decide not to renew the contract once the initial term expires.
So you can see how we have made things easy for hotel owners. Now they have cast aside all the doubts and fears they had in the past about entering into a hotel franchising agreement. They don’t have much to lose. We have made it easier for them to make a decision!
