Ruby Falls – Ruby Falls is a series of underground cascading waterfalls totalling 145 feet in Lookout Mountain, near Chattanooga, Tennessee. The cave is filled with stalactites and stalagmites formations, lending a beautiful and interesting look. Ruby Falls and the larger Lookout Mountain Caverns complex have been designated a National Historic Landmark.

Creative Discovery Museum – Explore, learn and have fun at the Creative Discovery Musuem. It is ideal for kids aged 1 to 12 years and offers lot of interactive exhibits and activities, which include Science Theater, Rooftop Fun Factory, River Play, etc

Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum – This is a popular tourist attraction and is also sometimes called ‘Moving Museum’. You can enjoy the experience of traveling in a classic steam engine and riding through lush landscape. The museum offers various tourist excursions from stations in Chattanooga and Etowah, Tennessee.

Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park – Both these parks played important roles in the American Civil War. Visitors can now get a chance to take a step back into history and witness tiny glimpses of the war period. You can find cannons belonging to that period. Chattanooga Military Park also boasts of some exciting scenic views of the town from atop Lookout Mountain.

Chattanooga Zoo – The 13 acre zoological part is home to many exotic creatures. The zoo is located in Warner Park and was established in 1937. It offers many exciting, wild experiences along with zoo tours. Visitors can check out around 500 animals, representing over 200 different species, many of which are endangered. Get up can close with jaguars, chimpanzees, venomous reptiles and more. Another great attraction, specially for kids, is the zoo choo train.
